Scopes, muzzles, grips, stocks and magazines explained, with loadout ideas for close quarters and long range.
How Attachments Work
Most TACZ weapons have attachment slots, and each slot accepts a specific category of part. You modify a gun through its attachment screen, which opens with a keybind while you hold the weapon; check Options → Controls → Key Binds under the TACZ category for the exact key in your version. Attachments can be crafted at the Gun Smith Table in survival.
The Five Main Slots
Scopes and sights
Optics change zoom level and sight picture. Red dots are fast at close range, while magnified scopes help at distance but slow down aiming.
Muzzle devices
Suppressors reduce sound, compensators tame vertical recoil, and flash hiders reduce visual flash.
Grips
Foregrips improve stability during sustained fire and can reduce horizontal recoil.
Stocks
Stocks trade handling speed for steadier aim.
Magazines
Extended magazines add capacity but can slow reloads.

Loadouts That Work
- Close quarters: red dot, compensator, vertical grip, standard magazine.
- All-rounder: low-power optic, suppressor, angled grip, extended magazine.
- Long range: high-power scope, muzzle brake, heavy stock.
Pack Compatibility
Attachments added by community packs may only fit weapons from the same pack. If a part will not attach, it usually is not tagged for that gun. The gun pack guide explains how packs share items.
Quick Tips
Test every build in a creative world first. Watch how the crosshair and recoil behave over a full magazine rather than a few shots. And remember that server configs can change attachment behaviour, so read the rules on any server you join.
