TACZ is built for Forge. Here is what that means for Fabric players and what your realistic options are.
The Short Answer
Searches for “TACZ mod Fabric” are common, but TACZ is developed for Forge. At the time of writing there is no official Fabric build on the mod's download pages. If you want the most stable experience, run TACZ on Forge.
Why It Is Forge Only
Forge and Fabric expose different APIs for rendering, networking and item handling. A mod written against one cannot load on the other without a port or translation layer. TACZ relies heavily on custom rendering for its animations, which makes it more sensitive to loader differences than a simple content mod.

Compatibility Layers
Projects such as Sinytra Connector try to run Forge mods on Fabric. Results vary by mod and version. For a mod as rendering-heavy as TACZ, expect visual glitches or crashes, and do not use this setup on worlds you care about. If you try it, test in a new instance and read the layer's own compatibility notes.
Your Best Options
- Switch the instance to Forge. Most popular Fabric mods have Forge versions.
- Keep two instances. A launcher such as Prism or CurseForge makes separate Forge and Fabric profiles easy.
- Watch official pages. If an official Fabric release appears, it will be listed on CurseForge or Modrinth.
